CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES




Melt 125grams of dark chocolate in a simmering water

In a bowl put 150 grams of flour,30 grams of cocoa sieved,1 tsp of bicarbonate of soda,half tsp of salt into a bowl

Cream 150 grams of soft butter and 50 grams of white sugar and75 grams of light brown sugar in another bowl .Add the melted chocolate and mix together.

Beat in 1 tsp of vanilla extract and 1 cold egg .Mix in the dry indegrients.Finally stir in the chocolate morsels or chocolate chips

Scoop out 12equal size mounds using ice cream scoop and place on a lined baking sheet about 6 cm apart.

Cook for 18 minutes testing with a cake tester

Leave to cool slightly on a baking sheet for 4-5 minutes then transfer them to a cooling rack to harden as they cool.
